The UNIGLOBE "Fit for Business" membership program is designed to support travel agency owners and their staff with the tools and support they need to sell more, earn more and do it all at the highest level of efficiency. It has been built for, and is best suited to, independent agency owner operators who wish to remain independent, but who can see the benefit of drawing on the power of a collaborative, global network. The programs, systems, tools and technologies that make up the Uniglobe business system today have evolved over 26 years in response to the diverse needs, interests, specialties and markets that the 40+ agencies in Western Canada, (and the 700+ agencies worldwide) represent. Corporate travel, leisure travel, group travel, specialties, online "agent-less" or full-service agent assisted, inbound, conferences -the business profiles of our membership are diverse. From agencies under $3 million to over $50 million, the system is flexible enough to customize a best "fit" for each agency according to the owner's unique objectives.
The menu of programs available for growth-oriented agency owners is extensive. However, having the tools is one thing, implementing them for results is another. As with any system, the real power is often the people who deliver and support it. Membership includes the consulting and support services of the experienced, industry professionals and technical specialists who make up the Uniglobe Regional team in Vancouver B.C. and whose knowledge and expertise can be used to provide further depth to your agency's pool of talent.
And to further enhance the impact of the system there is the power of networking. The networking within the organization is legendary and effective. Within the Western Canada Region our members use both formal (the Uniglobe Franchise Owners Association) and informal communications to share ideas and "how" methods for business improvement. Members participate in task forces, help to co-author programs in collaboration with the Regional Office and use the company intranet to access information and resources supplied by the Region and the members themselves. Conferences, online training and workshops all help members stay current and help keep staff skills honed. Across Regions, agencies participate in corporate account networking activities, benchmarking, business-to-business networking and inbound services to name a few. It is truly a collaboration of competence.
